Winner of The Jimmy Dean/True Value Country Showdown

Voted Best 2005 Country Artist by Connect Magazine

"Much like his brother (and longtime music collaborator) Jason has been doing over the past year or so, this local acoustic guitarist and singer is
rapidly recasting himself as a convincing frontman for a full, electric C&W
Band, and as a budding country songwriter, to boot. The current lineup of
his backing group reads like a who's who of some of the area's most
experienced and tasteful players, and their latest demo stands out as one of
the most commercially viable and in-the-pocket recordings of any local
country bar band that I've ever heard. All the elements which make for
shiny,radio-friendly honky-tonk are firmly in place: tinkly, FLOYD
CRAMER-esque piano runs, flashy pedal steel licks that chirp and flutter in
the background like a tipsy whippoorwill, solid timekeeping, and the
occasional red- hot slide guitar line."

Here's what the Lee's wrote about Chuck performing at their wedding:

From the bottom of our hearts, we would just like to thank you and your band for making our wedding reception perfect. We knew before we even hired you that you were going to be amazing by everyone already knowing your name and only hearing wonderful compliments about you. From the first time we spoke, you were nothing but a southern gentleman. You had great ideas but were also willing to listen to our desires. You were always very reliable as we planned our wedding, returning phone calls/emails and providing us with all necessary information in a professional and timely manner. We appreciate the time you spent with us as we planned the reception out minute by minute. It was so relaxing to know that you had the reception under control and we did not have to worry about a thing that night. You were the best “master of ceremonies” with respect to introducing the wedding party and all of the special dances. When you played “Wonderful Tonight” for our first dance, it had never sounded so beautiful. Your suggestions for the father/daughter and mother/son dance were perfect. You really know how to read a crowd and run the show perfectly. Your choice of songs was incredible all night in that the dance floor was always full and the chairs were empty. From the youngest guest of two to the oldest of eighty-four, you had them all on the dance floor having a blast. We do not know how you did it but you pleased all 500 and something of our guests with your great variety of songs. We all heard our favorites! Thank you for your high energy from the moment we walked in the door until the second we left. You made our reception more than we had ever dreamed with your style and elegance. A memory has forever been created not only for us newlyweds but also for every single guest that you entertained. From beginning to end, working with you was a pleasure, and we appreciated your professionalism and willingness in catering to our wishes. Your band received many compliments (so did we for our choice of the band!), and if we ever need a band again then you can be sure you will receive a call from us. Take care and may God bless you!

Sincerely,
Matt and Tricia Lee
